Strategy for Knowing Christ and Making Him Known:
The Cycle of Discipleship
We believe that our mission to know Christ and to make him known and our vision can be accomplished through a strategy which focuses on four fundamentals in the Cycle of Discipleship: Knowing Christ, Growing in Christ, Serving Christ, and Going to Share Christ with others.
- Knowing Christ – seeing people enter into a personal relationship with Christ by grace through faith in the gospel.
- Growing in Christ – encouraging and helping one another grow to maturity in Christ by developing and maintaining spiritual disciplines.
- Serving Christ – discovering spiritual gifts and talents and putting them into service; serving Christ in the church, in the community, and around the world by being his hands and feet.
- Going to Share Christ with Others – equipping disciples to share their faith in the gospel so that the lost may come to know Christ.
